Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of pepguys.com, related subdomains, and any orders you place with PepGuys Labs, LLC ("PepGuys", "we", "us"). By browsing the site, creating an account, or completing checkout, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Shipping Policy.

If you don't agree, please don't use the site or place an order. Continued use after we update the Terms means you accept the updated version — see §10.

To place an order, you must be:

• At least 21 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction (whichever is greater).
• A licensed researcher, lab technician, healthcare professional, or someone purchasing on behalf of a research entity.
• Located somewhere we are legally permitted to ship — see the Shipping Policy for the current country list.

We may decline or cancel any order, at any time, if we suspect a buyer doesn't meet these criteria or intends to misuse the product. We refund in full when we cancel.

You agree that you will:

• Use products solely for in-vitro laboratory research and in-house analytical method development.
• Not administer products to humans or animals, and not resell or transfer these products to anyone who will.
• Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and any institutional review requirements.

Misuse voids any guarantee, terminates your account, and shifts all liability to you (see §08).

Acceptance

An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we capture payment and send the order confirmation email. Until then we may decline for any reason — including pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock issues.

Pricing & taxes

All prices are in USD and exclude taxes and duties unless stated. Wholesale and bulk pricing is honored only when applied at checkout via the wholesale program — retroactive adjustments are not available.

Payment

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. You represent that you are authorized to use the chosen instrument and that the billing details are accurate.

You're responsible for everything that happens under your account, including the security of your password. Notify us immediately at security@pepguys.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, fail verification, or repeatedly initiate chargebacks for delivered orders.

You agree not to:

• Resell our products through unauthorized channels or repackage them under another label.
• Scrape, mirror, or systematically copy COA data, catalog listings, or batch records.
• Probe, fuzz, or attempt to bypass site security, rate limits, or access controls.
• Submit false certifications during the researcher verification step.
• Use the site to harass our staff or other customers.

The site, our brand, written content, photographs, COA layouts, and molecule data visualizations are owned by PepGuys Labs or our licensors. You may quote and link our COA findings in academic work with attribution ("PepGuys Labs, batch [number], COA on file"). Everything else requires prior written permission.

Feedback you send us — bug reports, feature ideas, COA suggestions — we may use without obligation or payment. We won't attribute it to you unless you ask us to.

The site and products are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, PepGuys disclaims all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or an order is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

We'd much rather solve a problem over email than in court. Reach support@pepguys.com first; we'll work in good faith for 30 days before either side escalates.

If we can't resolve it, disputes will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS in Travis County, Texas, under its streamlined rules. You waive the right to bring class actions. Either party may still file in small-claims court for qualifying disputes.

We update these Terms from time to time — typically when we add a payment method, change our shipping coverage, or react to new regulations. Material changes will be announced by email and via a banner on the site for at least 14 days before they take effect.
